God Bless America!

A Kansas City construction firm have come up with a novelty way of brightening up a building site in one of the local suburbs. Ironically, one of the only cricket grounds in the state is currently undergoing a lick of paint and a new 600 seater stand is being developed on the Bond Head Community Fields site.

'Bond Head Cricket Club are currently without a logo, but we think Bond Head Stingers would be a suitable name for the team', said Arnold Meyer who is the Chairman of the cricket club. 'We contacted the Beehive Stingers in Wales and were delighted when they allowed us to use their logo. With the ground under construction and on course for opening in 2010 it would be fitting if we could get the Beehive Stingers from Wales to play us in the first cricket game at the new Community Fields.'

An employee of Hoffman Construction Co. had the bright idea to then use the new logo as the main feature to cover up the continuing building work of the new stand. Arnold Meyer sent us this picture as the Hoffman Construction team got underway...
